9:30 pm, I am passing by #NewOrleans’s streets I stop to notice that all the bars here offer #LiveJazz. what beauty!Today is monday and the life here never sleeps.
Something impressed me way too much, here the people practice Voodoo which I red it’s a religion of African slaves who were imported by the United States. Before 1803 France occupied #NewOrleans and slaves were mostly Africans who were not allowed to practice voodoo because they were using it against their “masters”. When US owned #Louisiana that law disappeared, therefore voodoo took force. You can still smell the influence of African practices in the streets of this city. On #Frenchmen Street the drinks and admission are cheap and sometimes free! The only thing you’ll be asked to do is tip the bands generously. In some of these venues, that’s the only money they make, so you’ll be making a worthy contribution toward keeping the music of New Orleans alive.
21:30, estoy pasando por las calles de #NuevaOrleans me paro para ver que los bares aquí ofrecen #Jazz en vivo. ¡Qué belleza! Hoy es el lunes y la vida aquí nunca duerme.
Algo me impresionó demasiado, aquí la gente practica el Vudú el cual es una religión de esclavos que fueron importados por los Estados Unidos. Antes de 1803 Francia ocupaba #NuevaOrleans y los esclavos eran en su mayoría africanos, a quienes no se les permitía practicar vudú porque lo usaban contra sus “amos”. Cuando U.S. adquirió el estado de Louisiana esta ley desapareció, por lo tanto esta religión tomó fuerza. Todavía puede oler la influencia de las prácticas africanas en las calles de esta ciudad. En la calle de #Frenchmen las bebidas y la admisión son baratos y a veces gratis, lo único que se te pedirá hacer es ayudar con propinas generosamente. En algunos de estos lugares, es el único dinero que ganan, así que con tu ayuda estarás contribuyendo a la música de Nueva Orleans.

Also I loved to walk around Jackson Sq where you can relax with the green view. The palms at Canal St & Visit old french design houses. And the Mississippi River also is a must!
También disfruté bastante caminar por Jackson Sq en todo lo verde. Las palmas en Canal St y visitar casas viejas con arquitectura francesa. Y no podía faltar el Rio Mississippi.
